All classes can be paid for on our website or in our studio by cash, credit card, Venmo, PayPal or CashApp.
All payment for classes (with the exception of the belly dancing series) are made to our studio and we pay our teachers.
We are located in Studio 228 on the main (2nd) floor of the Historic Sacred Heart Hospital on 1010 N. 12th Avenue in the East Hill neighborhood of Pensacola, Florida.
We invite you to come try a class! We believe that yoga is a beneficial practice for anyone and all are welcome in our studio.
For yoga classes, you are welcome to wear whatever you are comfortable in. We practice yoga in bare feet and without socks to avoid slipping on our mats; you are welcome to wear socks for yin and restorative classes as both are seated practices.
For dance classes, wear clothes comfortable for active movement, non-skid soles (sneakers or dance shoes) are recommended.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to class in order to sign in and for class to begin and end on time. If you are running a few minutes late, please enter class quietly. Please note that our main studio door will be locked 10 minutes after class begins. You are welcome to ring the doorbell to the right of our main studio doors and if someone is in the office, they will let you in.
No, we are privately owned, we lease our space and we offer yoga by donation because we believe that the healing arts are not a commodity to be bought and sold and should be accessible to all. Our yoga studio is supported by drop-in donations to our yoga classes, monthly memberships, and our expressive arts classes, workshops and dance series.
We appreciate your interest in our studio! The best way to get to know us, and our studio, is by attending classes. We are always open to new class ideas that work within our overall mission and vision for ECY&EA. We look forward to seeing you soon!
